About Meredith (she/her)

Authentic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving, Meredith is a true people person with a passion for seeing beautiful moments in just the right light. Photography is a second career for Meredith following 16 years as a labor and delivery nurse. Nursing and photography have taught Meredith to witness life with sensitivity, empathy, and purpose. Meredith honors the truth of who people are, while also inviting them to see themselves in a new way. She is grateful for the privilege and trust that allow her to enter these moments, as well as the opportunity to continue exploring human connection, through her lens and through life. Meredith prides herself on developing long-lasting relationships with clients over time, creating comfort in front of the camera and continued authentic connection. She will document it all for you, the beginnings, the endings, the milestones and the magic.

Meredith is also the founder and director of Love Connect Tend, a nonprofit she developed during the pandemic. As the loss of everyday connection brought its importance into sharper focus, she was moved by its absolute necessity in our lives. Love Connect Tend grew from that understanding and is dedicated to strengthening love and connection in our communities.

Meredith has been working as a professional photographer for over a decade. She currently resides in Charlottesville, Va.
